MEADOW BRIDGE, WV (WOAY) – The Fayette County Health Department continued its community-wide testing on Monday.
This time, they partnered with Rainelle Medical Center to test 37 people at Meadow Bridge High School.
Although cases in Fayette County have stabilized, cases continue to rise in surrounding counties, so the health department is encouraging everyone to continue wearing face coverings and keeping their distance.
“Now is not the time to become complacent,” Fayette County Health Officer Dr. Anita Stewart said. “Now is the time to continue to watch out for one another. Be good West Virginians. My mask protects you. Your masks protects me. We should be wearing those when we’re out and about.”
The health department will be in Gauley Bridge next Monday doing community wide testing from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. No doctor’s order or symptoms required. The location is TBD.
