Nine Year Old Girl Flown To Charleston Hospital After Getting Hit By A Vehicle

GARWOOD, WV (WOAY) – Wyoming County Deputies are investigating an accident that sent a nine-year-old girl to the hospital.

On Friday, June 15, 2018, at around 6:15 pm, a vehicle owned by Gas Filled Services based out of Rosedale, Virginia was traveling along Route 10 in Wyoming County near the Garwood Community when the driver struck a pedestrian.  When emergency officials arrived on scene the nine-year-old girl was pinned under the truck.

The young girl was flown to  Charleston General Hospital with serious injuries.

It is unclear what caused the accident and if any charges will be filed.
