NIH Survey: Teen Opioid Misuse at a Historic Low

While the opioid overdose rates are high among adults, the National Institute on Health’s Monitoring the Future Survey has found that the opioid overdose in teens is at a historic low.

The survey found that teens believe that such drugs, are not as easily available as they used to be.

The Monitoring the Future Survey studies 8th, 10th, and 12th graders in schools nationwide.
