OAK HILL, WV (WOAY) – A Nicholas County man lands in jail in Fayette County after leaving the scene of an accident while impaired.

Sheriff Mike Fridley says, this weekend Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputies were notified of a hit and run incident that had occurred on Deepwater Mountain Road (WV Rt 61) just outside the city limits of Oak Hill. The victim pursued the suspect vehicle into Oak Hill, where it pulled over at a church.
