CRAIGSVILLE, WV (WOAY) – A man is arrested for attempted robbery at a Dollar General in Nicholas County.
In the evening hours of Saturday April 28th 2018 in Craigsville Nicholas County 911 recieved a call of a attempted robbery at Dollar General.
A male subject entered the businesss demanded money from the employee working. The subject did not recieved any money or merchandise from the Dollar General store. The subject fled the scene on a bicycle and was arrested by Deputy J. J. Bailes and later transported to the Central Regional Jail. The Subject was indentified as Chad Wayne Jacobs.
The Nicholas County Sheriff Department would like to thank all the citizens of the Craigsville area for the numerous tips of sightings of the subject leading to the arrest. We would also like to thank Trooper D. L. Gordon and Trooper D. P. White of the West Virginia State Police for their Assistance with the investigation.
