Nicholas County Drug Dealer Arrested

NICHOLAS COUNTY (WOAY) – On the evening hours of Tuesday, February 13th 2018 members of the Central West Virginia Drug Task Force executed a drug search warrant located at the residence of William Kyle Dodrill located at 17 Hammer Street Birch River, WV

During the search members located approximately 14 grams of Methamphetamine. Members of the CWVDTF had been conducting controlled buys from the suspect in the Birch River area for several weeks. Mr. Dodrill has been a known drug dealer in the area for years and has been difficult to catch. However, you can try to hide criminal acts but we will catch up with anyone distributing drugs into our communities.

Dodrill was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and 3 counts Delivery of a controlled substance within a ‘1000 feet of a school.

The Central West Virginia Drug and Violent Crime Task Force will continue working hard to keep these poisons within our communities out of our children’s hands while the Nicholas County Prosecutors Office brings swift prosecution for the crimes committed.

We thank the community for the assistance of attacking these epidemics in our County.
