Bluefield, WV (WOAY)- New River Community and Technical College will offer a free Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program in January at the Bluefield campus.
The six-week program kicks off with orientation on January 9, with classes starting on January 15.
Courses will be on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm and Fridays from 8:00 am to 2:30.
The last three weeks of the program will be clinical learning at Princeton Healthcare to give students hands-on experience in a healthcare setting.
While the program is free, space is limited and you will need to register in advance to secure your spot.
