New River CTC offers one-stop registration events

RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – New River Community and Technical College hosts on-campus registration events.

The college hosted its second event today at its Beaver location. The one-stop event gave students the opportunity to learn about financial aid and decide which path best fits their goals.

“You really can get anything that you want here at New River,” said executive director of institutional advancement Michael Green. “We like to say that you can stay safe, stay close to home and save a little bit of money if you’re unsure. With the COVID-19 pandemic, some people have concerns about sending their children off to one of the regional universities.”

If you missed today’s event, the next registration event is Aug. 18 at the Summersville campus. You can also register online. The deadline is Aug. 21.
