New Charges From Man Who Led Police On Fayette County Chase

OAK HILL– New charges being brought against a man who led police on a chase through Fayette County.

According to a press release from Chief of Police Michael W. Whisman, Bryan Keith Allen, age 38, of 100 Plateau Oaks, Oak Hill. W.V. has been charged with three warrants.

On Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 3pm, Oak Hill Police Department served 3 arrest warrants which were:

Felony of Wanton Endangerment
Misdemeanor of Shooting Near a Building
Misdemeanor of Destruction of Property

The charges stem from an incident which occurred on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 6:18pm at the Plateau Oaks Apartment Complex in East end of Oak Hill. In this incident someone fired two shots from a hand gun while standing in the parking lot, one of the bullets struck a nearby residence where someone was inside the home.

Police say Allen did turn himself into the Oak Hill Police Department and also gave a statement in which he admitted to firing the handgun while standing in the parking lot of the apartment complex, he also provided the firearm to the Oak Hill Police Department that was used.
