Nearly 2,000 Without Power In Southern West Virginia

WEST VIRGINIA (WOAY) – Nearly 2,000 customers are without power in several counties tonight.

According to Appalachian Power, the power outage is affecting Raleigh, Summers, Fayette, and Greenbrier counties.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The estimated restoration time is 5am Wednesday morning.

The cause of the outage is due to equipment failure.
