Multiple Car Accidents With Injuries Reported in Raleigh County

RALEIGH COUNTY– There have been two car accidents causing injuries in Raleigh County on Monday evening.

The first accident happened in Farley Hill around 8:48 PM when a car flipped and landed on the side of the road. State Police, Coal City Fire Department, Best Ambulance and Jan Car Ambulance all responded.

The second accident happened on I-64 at the bottom of Sandstone Mountain around 8:58 PM. A car driving in the East bound lane flipped and landed in the West bound lane. The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Department, Beaver Fire Department, and Best Ambulance all responded. The victim in that crash refused medical treatment at the scene.
