Muggies Return, Sunday Showers Then Bigger Midweek Storm

WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): A warm front will bring clouds tonight followed by rain but then we get a break until later in the afternoon.

Chief Meteorologist Chad Merrill has the latest:

OVERALL PICTURE: Prepare for showers early Sunday followed by a late morning to mid-afternoon break and then a couple of later day downpours. Sunday will definitely see a spike in the humidity and mugginess but cooler temperatures than Saturday. Monday and Tuesday will be our warmest days of the week before a strong front brings another opportunity for severe thunderstorms with gusty winds Wednesday afternoon. Showers will linger early Thursday and then we are in for yet another cool blast to close out the week.
