Mudslide In Bluefield Causes Road Closures

BLUEFIELD WV (WOAY)- A mudslide occurring early Thursday morning has shut down roads in Bluefield West Virginia.

 

WOAY called Mercer County Dispatch at 3:12 a.m. Thursday morning who shared that the mudslide has doubled in size since first reported at 1:30 a.m. and crews are out on the scene.

 

The mudslide did occur on Airport Road in Bluefield and currently Airport Road to Bull Trail Hollow are closed at this time.

 

Dispatch also told WOAY that no injuries were reported.
