MORGANTOWN, WV (video courtesy WDTV) – West Virginia men’s basketball has now lost three straight following Saturday’s 73-62 loss to Oklahoma in Morgantown.
On a day when Princeton native Rod Thorn saw his #44 jersey retired, the Mountaineers started the game well, but Oklahoma would gain momentum from behind the arc in the first half. Kristian Doolittle led all scorers with 19 points, while Miles McBride paced WVU with 13; he was the only Mountaineer to reach double figures.
West Virginia goes on the road Tuesday to Iowa State. Their final home game of the regular season comes next Saturday against Baylor.
