DANIELS, WV (WOAY)- This morning, Golfers got a chance to Tee off for a good cause.
Mountain State Golf Classic held a golf tournament at Glade Springs to help raise money for Alzheimer’s Association. During the weekend-long tournament, the organization was able to raised over 7 thousand dollars.
“With COVID going on, we didn’t know what type of turnout we’re going to have. We have great sponsors each year, the weather has been phenomenal, and the field just gets better and better with these young kids that are playing. Promoting junior golf and keeping the tradition going, that what its all about,” said Tournament Director Mike Mays.
Over 120 people participated in the golf tournament.
