UPDATE: (June 1, 2018 at 10 pm) – Sources tell WOAY that one person has passed away after the person wrecked their motorcycle.
The person was an EMT worker.
No names have been released or what caused the accident.

SHADY SPRING, WV (WOAY) – Emergency crews responded to an accident Friday evening that sent one person to the hospital.
Officials tell WOAY that a motorcycle accident happened on Ritter Drive in Shady Spring at 6:40 pm. Ritter Drive is closed at this time as crews work to clear the scene.
It is unclear what caused the accident at this time or the extent of the injuries.
