More Accessible Healthcare for Some Raleigh County Students

Access Health is providing school-based services to several Raleigh County Schools.
This program allows parents to address their child’s healthcare needs without losing time at work or having to check their child out of school.
The Nurse Practitioner stationed at Cranberry-Prosperity Elementary said there are also financial benefits to the program.
“There is a benefit that’s passed down to the students that are seen here at the school, for example, if they have a $20 copay that they would pay in an outpatient clinic, we wave that here,” said Nurse Practitioner Rebecca Dilly.
Principle Lett said their attendance rate at Cranberry Elementary has gone up by 2% since the clinic has been running.
