Oak Hill, WV (WOAY)-A mobile unit dedicated to connecting veterans, active servicemembers, and their families to resources is visiting Fayette County this week.
The Beckley Vet Center will host its mobile vet unit on Wednesday, August 27, at Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene from 10:00 am to noon.
The free event provides much-needed services, such as mental health counseling for depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and the psychological effects of military sexual trauma.
Additional resources will be available to connect veterans, active-duty servicemembers, and their families with more support from the Department of Veterans Affairs.
