Mercer County Deputies Find Drugs And Cash During Home Check

BLUEFIELD, WV (WOAY) – A Bluefield man is in jail after deputies find drugs and cash.

On November 19, 2018 Bluefield West Virginia Police Patrolman DA Williams; Patrolman RV Johnson and Sgt MD Pertee assisted Mercer County Home Confinement Officer Bailey in a home check in Bluefield WV of Juwan Rowe. Rowe is currently on home confinement for first degree murder.

During the home check the following was found:

$1052 USD
194 grams of Marijuana
91 grams of THC Gummies
4 sets of scales
4 1/2 mg Xanax
1 grinder
1 crack pipe
1 spoon with what is believed to be drug residue on it.

Rowe advised he was currently unemployed. Rowe was arrested and charged with distribution of narcotics. Rowe is currently awaiting arraignment at Southern Regional Jail.
