Princeton, WV (WOAY) – The Mercer County Animal Shelter is hosting its “Adopt and Shop Spring Party” on Saturday, May 31, from noon to 6:00 p.m.
Visitors can come by the shelter at 961 Shelter Road in Princeton, meet adoptable pets, browse local vendors, and enjoy a variety of food trucks.
Organizers remind guests to be mindful of where they park.
Blocking the 911 center, the main road to the shelter, or parking on neighbors’ grass will result in your vehicle being towed. Â
Parking attendants will be on-site to guide visitors, and a few handicap spaces will be available near the building. Â
If you’re bringing your dog along, make sure to keep a close eye on other pets. Â
Organizers ask that personal dogs not enter the dog area, as it can be stressful for both shelter animals and visiting pets. Â
Staff and volunteers will be setting up vendors and food trucks all morning to ensure everything runs smoothly.Â
Visit MCAS on Facebook or call them at (304) 425-2838.
