UPDATE: Man Arrested For Breaking Into A Home In Greenbrier County

UPDATE: GREENBRIER COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – A man wanted for breaking into a home is now in jail.

Deputies arrested Scott Winfrey from a home on Thursday evening.

He is being held in the Southern Regional Jail on a 25,000 dollar bond.










GREENBRIER COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – The Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department needs your help in locating Scott Winfrey.

They would like to speak to Mr. Winfrey in reference to a burglary that occurred. Mr. Winfrey is believed to have been involved in this burglary and was last seen in the evening hours on this date, in the Monroe Draft area.

This incident occurred at a residence on Monroe Draft on Thursday, August 23, 2018, in the evening hours. Monroe Draft is located between Caldwell and Organ Cave, Greenbrier County, West Virginia.

If you have seen Scott Winfrey or know his whereabouts, please contact Sergeant Bart Baker at the Lewisburg Detachment of the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department at (304) 647-6634 during business hours, or by contacting the Greenbrier County 911 Center at (304) 647-7911, 24 hours a day.

Scott Winfrey is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. This post is an attempt to locate Mr. Winfrey for questioning.
