BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – A Beckley man is in jail after he stole a Jeep from the Beckley Armory.
According to a criminal complaint, Beckley Police was dispatched to a stolen vehicle complaint on Armory Drive in Beckley. On December 1, 2018, the Sophia Police Department had the stolen vehicle stopped and found that Shane Ginevan was the driver.
Ginevan stated that he saw the keys in the vehicle, so he stole it out of the parking lot.
Ginevan is charged with grand larceny and is being held in the Southern Regional Jail under a 7,500 dollar bond.
