Man sought in West Virginia fatal shooting

CHARLESTON, WV (AP) — West Virginia officials are searching for a man charged with first-degree murder in a fatal shooting this week.

The Kanawha County sheriff’s office said officers are seeking information on 33-year-old Douglas “Fatty” Kidd III of Nitro. He is charged in the death Monday night of James Morris.

The sheriff’s office said James Tyler Garnes was arrested Wednesday in Putnam County on a charge of being an accessory to murder after the fact in the case.
