The Mercer County Sheriff’s Department has arrested one person in the killing of a Bluefield woman.
Charles Lee Dawson, a 43-year-old man from Bluefield, allegedly shot Keri Michelle Billings to death.
According to the sheriff’s department, Billings died from a single gunshot wound.
Dawson faces first-degree charges and is being held in Southern Regional Jail without bond.
