STANAFORD, WV (WOAY) – A Raleigh County man has been charged following an investigation into the shooting death in late May.
Stephen Neal was charged with murder, kidnapping, and use of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
It’s in connection to the shooting death of Chad Minor on Hoist Road in Stanaford that happened on May 24.
At the time, Neal was identified as the resident of the home where the incident occurred. He was not charged directly after the incident, and investigators said he was cooperating with deputies.
Neal is being held in Southern Regional Jail. We will keep tracking this story and update you when we learn more.
