Man arrested on multiple charges after traffic stop

MULLENS, WV (WOAY)- A man has been arrested after officers conducted a traffic stop and found drugs and a gun.
On January 31, 2021 around 2 a.m., while on road patrol Officer A.Cook observed a white jeep that could not maintain its lane. Officer Cook made a traffic stop on the jeep and was assisted by Officers J.Mullins and L.Davidson.
After speaking with the driver, William Lytle, officers discovered Lytle was a convicted felon and was in possession of a handgun. Officers also discovered 16.5 grams of Methamphetamine, 1 gram of Marijuana a scale multiple baggies, and 15,443 dollars in cash.
Lytle is charged with Possession with intent, felon in possession of a firearm, and driving suspended/revoked 3rd offense. William Lytle is awaiting arraignment at Southern Regional Jail.
