Man arrested for brandishing: “I’ll blow your face off.”

WYOMING COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – A man is in jail after threatening to shoot someone.

On Feb. 26, officers responded to a man and woman refusing to leave a property around 4:15 a.m. The responding officer went to Oceana Apartments where the victim claimed Keith Dotson, 42, entered her apartment and held her at gunpoint.

In a statement, the victim told police that Dotson was helping her look for a missing bracelet when he entered her apartment without asking. He then allegedly shoved her against the wall and pointed a gun at her fiance, saying “I’ll blow your face off.”

The victim said Dotson was hiding behind the apartments, allegedly armed with a cut off shotgun. The officer was unable to find the suspect at the time.

Dotson was arrested on Tuesday for burglary, brandishing and battery. He is now at Southern Regional Jail under a $5,000 bond.
