A man was arrested yesterday after a police chase in Kanawa County.
The vehicle’s registration did not match the vehicle. A deputy sheriff attempted a traffic stop and the driver led deputies on a pursuit through Putnam County, where his vehicle struck a Hurricane Police cruiser.
The vehicle was finally stopped in Cabell county, and the driver, Robert Lee Goff was arrested.
He is being charged with fleeing with reckless indifference, driving on a suspended operators license, no insurance, and improper registration.
He may be facing additional charges related to the pursuit and the crash.
