CHARLESTON– Charleston police said a man is charged after he was accused of attempting to pour bleach into a pregnant woman’s mouth and trying to get her to drink the fluid after he discovered the child was not his.
“Drink this so your baby can die,” court records claim the man said as he attempted to pour the liquid into the woman’s mouth.
Geoffrey Wilborne, 30, of Charleston is charged with strangulation and two counts of attempting to injure or kill by poison, according to a criminal complaint filed in Kanawha County Magistrate Court.
Charleston police said the incident happened Saturday in the 400 block of Randolph Street.
The complaint said Wilborne’s bond was set at $100,000 cash only.
