Make-A-Wish Foundation

From meeting celebrities like John Cena and Luke Bryan, to taking an amazing trip around the world, the Make-A-Wish Foundation grants wishes like these, to sick children.

However, workers for the non-profit say they are having trouble finding candidates to grant the wishes to.

One of the main problems is the referrals. Many people think you have to be a doctor to refer; but in fact, anyone, including friends and family, can make a referral.

Another common misconception is that the children have to be terminally ill to qualify. The sickness does have to be life-threatening and chronic conditions like cerebral palsy and diabetes would count.
Teenagers are also eligible, if they are under 18.
