BECKLEY, WV (WOAY/NEWS RELEASE) – L&S Toyota made a $20,000 contribution to the United Way of Southern West Virginia and Hospice of Southern West Virginia Thursday.
United Way of Southern WV currently serves seven southern WV counties and is nearing the close of their 2017 campaign goal of $860,000.
“Raising $860,000 in southern West Virginia has been a challenge, but having great community business leaders like L&S Toyota certainly gives us confidence in the giving power of the people in our region who care and are willing to do big things to help those we serve”, says Michelle Rotellini, Executive Director with the United Way.
Hospice of Southern WV has been providing quality end-of-life care for more than 35 years in Raleigh, Fayette, Summers, and Wyoming Counties. Since its inception, the organization’s mission has remained the same: to serve the needs of individuals living with a life-limiting illness and those caring for them, focusing on comfort and quality of life.
“Hospice relies on the generosity of local businesses and individuals to help us care for those who need our services regardless of the family’s ability to pay,” said Janett Green, CEO of Hospice of Southern WV. “We really can’t thank Shawn Ball and L&S Toyota enough for their kindness and support of both us and the United Way of Southern West Virginia. They continue to prove they are true leaders in our community.”
