Local School Becomes Apple Distinguished

Cranberry Prosperity Elementary School has become an Apple Distinguished School for their innovative technology efforts.
In order to be classified as an Apple Distinguished School, the faculty, and staff of that school must use their vision for technology-rich environments within the learning process.
Principle Lett says Cranberry-Prosperity uses technology during all aspects of its learning.
“This has been a tool for them. It’s not just something we use for a certain amount of time a day, it’s not a 30-minute session a day, technology is a way of life and it’s a tool we’ve implemented to take our learning to the next level”, said Principle Lett.
Cranberry-Prosperity is one of only two schools in the state of West Virginia that are Apple Distinguished and only 400 in the entire world.
