Local Restaurants Featured in State Guide

Some of the area’s favorite restaurants and roosts like King Tut Drive-In in Beckley and Pies and Pints in Fayetteville have again made the Division of Tourism’s “101 Unique Places to Dine” pocket guide.

The guide highlights the state’s 101 most distinctive and delicious culinary destinations around the state.

This is the third edition of the dining guide, which organizes showcased establishments by region and includes local craft drink pairing suggestions and food-based events and festivals.

The guide is produced every two years, and restaurants are voted on by the public. Area restaurants highlighted include:

Beckley: King Tut Drive-In, Pasquale Mira and Tamarack

Fayetteville: Pies & Pints, Secret Sandwich Society and Cathedral Cafe

Lewisburg: Food & Friends, Jim’s Drive-In, When Pigs Fly Real Pit BBQ, Stardust Cafe and Hill & Holler

Rainelle: Fruits of Labor Cafe and Bakery

Daniels: The Dish Cafe

Glen Ferris: Glen Ferris Inn

Lansing: Smokey’s on the Gorge
