Local Hair Salon Giving Free Haircuts To Homeless For Thanksgiving

BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – A local business is spending their time ahead of turkey day giving back.

Get Faded and Dyed in Beckley are paying it for forward by providing free haircuts and coffee to homeless residents in the community.

Not only are the employees grateful to be able to give back but our southern West Virginia community is glad they’re able to do this.

“It makes me feel happy, to acknowledge us even though we may not have a place to stay at, and we can get a free haircut,” said Mason Campbell.

“It’s really self stem boost for a lot of people and that is really they need specially holidays and tho think about people been homeless at this time of year it’s really sad so I want to make people to feel good, said Stacey Conkle, Hairstylist.

the hair salon tells us that they provided around 30 haircuts over the past two days.
