Creative Director Melodi Hawley told Newswatch what made them want to do the event.

“It started out as an effort to really intervene and intercept children to drug exposure but we quickly realized that in order to save the babies we have to save the mamas so that’s where we landed.”

The Save Haven event will be next Friday the 23rd at 6 p.m. The banquet is open to all but it is suggested you RSVP via text at 304-860-7956. Hawley did add that if you are unable to attend iheart will be holding more events coming soon.
