MERCER COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – The Princeton Public Library encourages creativity by telling kids to decorate their masks.
Wednesday kicked off the library’s Mask Masquerade contest. The only rules to follow are to follow CDC guidelines, be willing to wear it in public with pride, and think outside of the box when making your mask.
“We thought it might be a good idea to enact a program like this to create participation and creativity,” said Sheena Johnson. “It would hopefully encourage people to wear masks more, but also make it a little bit more fun.”
You can enter the contest by sending a photo to the library’s Facebook page or email it to princetonlibrarywv@gmail.com by August 5.
