Laptops, TV Stolen from Ansted Middle School

ANSTED– The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a break-in a local school.

Around 6:00 this morning Fayette County 911 received a call about a an apparent break-in at Ansted Middle School. When deputies arrived they found that the perpetrator had forced open a door to the cafeteria. Surveillance camera footage showed there was one male suspect and the break-in occurred around 4AM. The man was wearing a mask to hide his identity. School officials were able to determine the suspect stole two laptop computers and one 55 inch TV. This incident remains under investigation.
