BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – Lady D, a local musician known for her blues and jazz, will be doing a one-woman show at the Beckley Art Center on Sunday at 4 p.m.
The concert will take place inside the gallery as Lady D performs her Appalachian Blues Speak Show. This will feature music and poetry.
“It really highlights her original music and it also presents some of her poetry and spoken word and she tells stories about growing up in Appalachia,” BAC Executive Director Robby Moore said.
