BECKLEY— We are continuing to learn more information about the shooting incident that took place on Harper Road in Beckley on Wednesday afternoon.

State Police say they responded to a call about two people shooting at each other at the Go-Mart. Upon further investigation, it was determined that Randolph Edward Stump was the only person firing shots.

Police say Stump shot at another car with two passengers. That car fled the scene and Stump followed them onto the parking lot of Mama Lina’s where more shots were fired.

They say Stump then fled the scene at a high rate of speed. His car was later found wrecked on Seahurst Drive off of Sweeneysburg Road. Eyewitnesses told police he had then fled on foot and a manhunt ensued.

At this time, Stump is still on the run and considered armed and dangerous. If you see him or have any information you are asked to call State Police at 304-256-6700 or 911.
