Beckley man sentenced for robbing home near Oak Hill

FAYETTE CO., WV (NEWS RELEASE) – Fayette County Prosecuting Attorney Larry E. Harrah, II announced that on July 11, 2017, Jesse R. Miller of Beckley was sentenced to one (1) to (15) years in prison for burglary.

In October 2016, Miller and multiple co-defendants broke into a residence on Upper Summerlee Loop Road near Oak Hill and stole electronics and jewelry. The victim’s property was recovered shortly thereafter.

Miller was on parole for prior burglary and conspiracy charges when he committed this crime. The sentence in this case will begin after he finishes serving time for his prior charges.

This crime was investigated by the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department.
