Investigation Underway After A Fayette County Bus Driver Was Allegedly Speeding With Kids On The Bus

SMITHERS, WV (WOAY) – An investigation is underway after a bus driver was allegedly speeding with kids on the bus.

Officials from Fayette County tells WOAY that they can confirm an investigation is underway after they received reports of a school bus driver possibly speeding.  Kids were on the bus at the time.

The investigation is being handled by the Department of Transportation but no other comments could be made right now, due to it being a personnel matter.

The videos were sent to us by a viewer that shows speeds reaching up to 50-60 mph.  The person that took the videos says he was traveling from Armstrong Creek to Valley Middle & High School.
