Improving Student Success In Colleges

CHARLESTON, WV (WOAY)-  Higher education leaders signed a commitment last week to improve student success during their first year of college.

A group representing West Virginia Higher Education Institutions committed to the State’s Momentum Pathways Project, which helps to increase the number of degrees earn by students that attend college.

The project also includes many different ways to encourage students including: signing up for fifteen credit hours a semester, changing developmental math and English courses and providing support services for students.
