MERCER COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – Norhbound lanes of I-77 are now back open after a tractor trailer hauling eggs wrecked.

MERCER COUNTY WV (WOAY) – Both Northbound lanes of I-77 are shut down near exit one due to a tractor-trailer accident.
Mercer County dispatch tells WOAY that a call of a tractor-trailer has flipped just outside of East River Tunnel The tractor-trailer was hauling eggs, which spilled onto the road.
Green Valley Fire Department, Mercer County Sheriff’s Department, West Virginia State Police, WV DOH, and Virginia DOT responded to the scene.
It is estimated that the interstate will be back open around 2 am, but could be delayed.
Motorists are encouraged to find an alternate route.
No injuries have been reported.
