Huggins Gives Update on WVU Men’s Basketball

WOAY (Bob Huggins video conference courtesy WVU Athletics) – Hear from WVU men’s basketball head coach Bob Huggins as he talks about how he’s been keeping in touch with the Mountaineer players.

It’s been more than a month since WVU upset Baylor in Morgantown, in what turned out to be the final game of their 2019-20 season. The Mountaineers were scheduled to play in the Big 12 Tournament quarterfinals, before that tournament and the NCAA Tournament were eventually canceled.

Huggins made a comment last week suggesting the NCAA hold a tournament in the fall of 2020, prior to a formal start of the 2020-21 season. He says he has received multiple calls from fellow coaches providing feedback.

West Virginia men’s basketball is scheduled to open next season November 10 in Morgantown against Fairleigh Dickinson.
