RICHWOOD (WOAY) – Several Firefighters rushed to the scene of a house fire shortly before noon.
The fire happened on Riverview Drive, upon arriving, crews found a kitchen electrical socket was arcing and starting to burn,
The electrical service for the kitchen was secured, electrical outlet removed and checked and crews checked the walls around the outlet for fire, no further fire was found with only minimal damage to the origin area
No Civilian or Firefighter Injuries we’re reported.
Richwood Fire, Craigsville Fire, and Nettie Fire Departments responded to the scene.
