LEWISBURG, WV (WOAY)- This year, HospiceCare in Lewisburg is hosting a virtual 10k run.
HospiceCare encourages participants to take pictures and record themselves walking or running on roads, treadmills and trails. Participants can submit their pictures and videos from June 1st through June 30th. Registration fee is 25 dollars and all proceeds will benefit hospiceCare.
“Being able to continue this tradition, we actually run this race for over 27 years the actual 10k. So this is very exciting for us, I’m very thrilled to be apart of it and I really think people will enjoy it if they just sign up for it,” said Development Coordinator Missy VanBuren.
All participants of the virtual 10K will receive a finisher medal, a special gift from a local vendor and a printable virtual bib.
