HINTON, WV (WOAY)- Hinton’s well known Railroad Days will continue this fall.
“Railroad Days” has been a tradition for over 50 years for the Summers County Community.
Amtrack was almost discontinued to routes like the New River Train Excursion earlier this month.
Senator Shelley Moore Capito tweeted Wednesday afternoon about how excited she is about the tradition continuing in West Virginia.
Tickets are now on sale for the Huntington to Hinton route.
Railroad days will take place in Hinton on two weekends in October, 20-21 and 27-28.
According to the Hinton Railroad Museum, vendor applications will be mailed out next week.
