MEADOW BRIDGE, WV and HINTON, WV (WOAY) – Hear from Meadow Bridge head football coach Dwayne Reichard and Summers County head football coach Chris Vicars as the teams begin the final week of their summer practice periods.
Most counties in West Virginia chose to begin their official three weeks of summer practice on July 6, meaning the practice period would end on July 25. WVSSAC Executive Director Bernie Dolan said earlier this month that although the fall sports preseason and regular season would begin at different times than originally planned, the summer practice sessions would continue uninterrupted.
All fall sports can begin preseason activities on August 17, and football games can start on September 3.
