WOAY – It’s finally here; the 2017 high school football preseason has arrived in Southern West Virginia, as the road to the Super Six in Wheeling begins this week.
Starting Friday, WOAY will bring you previews of area teams as they prepare for kickoff on August 25th, right up to our first Game of the Week previews.
On Monday, we caught up with Oak Hill and Fayetteville as they begin practice. The Pirates are coming off a Class A state semifinal berth, while the Red Devils are optimistic that they can overcome obstacles like the ones they faced a season ago.
