Hampshire County textile artist to display her work at Beckley Art Center this weekend

BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – The “Journeys” art exhibit opens Friday at the Beckley Art Center.

This will feature a Hampshire County textile artist by the name of Susan Feller who will be showing her work throughout the weekend and also teaching those who stop by about rug hooking.

The exhibit showcases the beauty of West Virginia and also the human impact on that beauty.

“I mostly focus on rug hooking but a lot of the different traditional crafts so hooking, embroidery, quilting, collage work. All of these things that I learned as a child and growing up,” Feller said.

The exhibit will be on display on Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. There will be a virtual reception on Friday night beginning at 7:00 p.m. on the Beckley Art Center Facebook page.
